VNMRJ 1.1B and VNMR 6.1C
|
Console |
3 RF channels, 2 fully broadband. Observe and decouple all nuclei. Single axis
high power gradients, suitable for diffusion measurments.
|
Standard probe |
1H/BB switchable with Z-PFG. Optimized for observation of
heteronuclei and also suitable for observation of 1H.
VT: -80 to +150.
|
Alternate probes |
1H/BB nanoprobe with Z-PFG. High-resolution magic angle spinning (HR-MAS)
probe for observation of solid and solid phase supported samples and very
small sample volumes (~40 ul).
1H{13C, 15N} with Z-PFG. This probe is optimized for 1H observation with
simultaneous decoupling of 13C and 15N and is thus ideal for 1H detected 2D
and 3D experiments (dilute samples, natural products, bio-molecules). Not
suitable for the direct observation of heteronuclei
1H{BB} Optimized for observation of 1H with decoupling of a heteronucleus. Not
suitable for observation of heteronuclei. Useful for observing 1H and 2D
spectra of dilute samples at very high or very low temperatures
|
Purpose |
This instrument is expected to provide access for analysis of complex and
concentration or mass limited samples as well as diffusion experiments.
|
Access |
Users with access to the old Unity 500 now have access to the new 500. Note!
Some procedures, notably tuning the probe are different on this console. If
you need help please let us know.

Sign-up rules |
Long periods of up to 10 hours and overnight times starting 8 pm weekdays. One
week advanced sign-up allowed. Sign-up for short-time periods (< 1hr) should be made
no more than 15 minutes before the starting time of the reservation. Long term
experiments/group sign up on weekends and holidays.
